Default SCUNCIO 427 CHEVELLE CONVERSION?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...;category=6164

Here is one that WAS for sale on Ebay, belonged to Aerosmith band member Joey Kramer, states the 396 was replaced by Scuncio with a 427 under warranty. Would the 427 being installed under warranty by the original dealer be considered a dealer conversion? According to a different website it seems the reserve may have been around 20 grand, and maybe East Coast Chuck got the car. Looks like a nice piece. Click on link.

Rumor has it, this Scuncio 69 SS Chevelle had the 427 transplant done when new, prior to being sold. (Possibly an L88) Seems to be a short block only transplant as the heads are dated 6 weeks prior to the build date of the car and the short block is a 512 dated later in 69. A very special car indeed. With only 61K miles it still retains the original KK 410 rear axle and matching M21, both dated early Feb of 69. Still has the original deep groove pullies, factory chambered exhaust and 69 only rolled exhaust tips. You may also know many Scuncio 427 cars were Black as this one is. Car has the original white interior too. Surely a rare piece of SuperCar history from Scuncio Chevrolet. Congrats Chuck on the new addition to your Scuncio Chevelle collection.
