Front and Rear bumper are smoke chrome painted, not chrome plated. I haven't seen it in person, but some have said it looks good with the black carbon fiber accents. You'll see in the attachment that the exhaust exits thru the louvered bullets at the corners. The trunk lid "V" chevron is frenched in and red backlighted.

I had originally thought the bumper was just reflecting some bad light, but I agree with you-- Smoked chrome finish for a Hot car
 ---Also got a better look at the rear of the hood from your photo and saw the cowl opening--Is this where the heat gets exhausted by the fan?-- A lot of detailing went into this car and it shows ---
