Probably a Motion body kit bought mail-order back in the day but who knows? Remember when there were alot of Corvettes that looked like this? It reminds me of the "Cruisin' USA" series in Hot Rod or one of those great cover blurbs from the '70s: "VETTES! MILD TO WILD!"
Yes, it is nice to read a seeingly honest eBay item description. |

Very nice car but, I highly doubt that it's a Motion car. Back then all of the parts mentioned as "Motion" identifiers could have been purchased mail order through motion performance; in fact a friend of mine bought some Motion valve covers and a mirrored dash kit for his 1974 Corvette through Motion way back when.

-----All the pictured body pieces look to be Ralph "Ecklers" stuff. If you go into the catalog even today you will find all the same pieces. There are other aftermarket fiberglass places that have popped all of Ralphs stuff though so it would be hard to give the actual correct original manufacturer..............Bill S

------Thanks JoeG, I havent bought anything from Ecklers in a coons age and they long ago gave up on sending me catalogs, but I remember a whole bunch of his pieces. They were used back when I lived in Ft.Liquerdale on the thousands of wrecked Vettes due to either too much booze or bad drugs during the "hazy" era (app.1963 to 1975). Back then it was rare to find a stock Vette. Ralph must have made an absolute fortune in south Florida alone...........Bill S
