Was watching that one, gotta admit I was thinking a good reproduction would be worth half to me. Especially on a clone, no sense in using up real parts on a clone (as long as good repros are avalible), right?

That IS the "cheap" repro hood. If you want a more correct one it will cost you about 3000. As far as I know, these are the only choices for the '68 style hood. If you want a '67 style "stinger" hood, the VFN is a good choice for about 400.

I guess I have to claim ignorance. Does anyone have a pic showing the difference between the 67 and 68 hoods? There is a picture of a 68 Yenko on the cover of the Classic Industries catalog, and it looks to have the Stinger style on it. I assume that is the correct hood for the car.....that appears to be the same as the 67 Stinger style. Educate me?

The '68 Yenko hood scoop looks alot like the AMC Javelin style.
Was that Don Yenko's insiration? I also like the look of the PMD Rally II wheels he used on some cars in '68. Was that his standard wheel in '68 or wee there 3 types, plain rim, Rally II or mags for more money? I'm not sure what year the Javelin started production. Thanks
