If you're nice to him maybe he'll let you pose for a picture! I think it's common knowledge that Motion would start with new L-78* cars, remove the 396 and sell it over the counter, then complete the 427 conversion to Phase I, II, or III standards. At least that's what I've read in several magazines from those days. BUT, I could be wrong. *Early 1967 Camaro SS "Supercar" conversions were made from 350 cars before the 396 became available. |
