There are about 5000 of them and all year models are represented. No Yenko or ZL1 Camaros are registered here, last checked in November 2002. There are of course some non registered Camaros, mostly race cars, who haven’t been checked. There is one 69 Convertible who has a VIN right after ZL1 #49, that’s about as close we get.
But there are two known 69 COPO Camaros registered here and one of them is owned by COPO Anders at this forum, the other one has not had all its codes checked as far as I know but I’ve seen the original invoice for the car. It was sold by a Chevy dealer in the New York area (no not Baldwin) and the guy who bought it had a 67 BB Corvette as a trade in, if my memory serves my right. I’ll have to check the codes on that one. These two Camaros came to Sweden in 1976 and 1977 respectively. ///Ove

Just something I noted while searching through the VIN’s for registered 69 Camaros in Sweden. The #49 ZL1 is listed with VIN 124379N619976 and the 69 Convertible I was referring to has VIN 124679N619977. Close but no cigar.
Just to clarify, in my previous post I was mentioning two COPO Camaros in Sweden it should have been COPO 9561. Just because I was writing about fast cars I guess I was typing too fast. ///Ove

What are the specs on the convertible? Is it a big block car? Might kind of cool to have consecutive numbered cars... (see my signature)

Oh, sorry I missed that. Sure that would be cool having consecutive numbered cars. I have no idea about the specs on the convertible, but I could try and find out. What I can see, from the Swedish equivalent to the DMV, is that the car first was registered here on April 14 1976 and it has had four owners since, the current owner has owned the car since 1982.
Also, it hasn’t been registered for use on public roads since 1988, back then it was yellow by the way, so it probably is undergoing some kind of restoration, perhaps the owner has gotten tired of the car and wants to sell it...I’ll see what I can find out. Glad to help if I can. ///Ove
