Incredible. The walk in swapmeets are becoming more & more appealing to me lately.
Rich, can you link us the actual auction you won this engine from,or give us the Ebay number?
Maybe someothers will come forward who have had the same experience with this guy as you have.

Marlin this is the guy that constantly has trim tags for sale and markets them as ZL-1 COPO tags. I hope someone outbids you.

If he's a bad egg, I'm pulling my bid! I don't know how to pull it, but I'll figure it out!

Not sure if he is the guy that pulled the engine scam. I did recognize the seller name on your auction though. My personal feeling is I wouldn't do business with someone like this. I have a problem with guys selling trim tags. Especially when they market them as COPO or ZL1 to make more $. Not a bad price for credit card size piece of metal huh.

Here is an example of his work.

I am so disappointed that I was not invited to this party! First of all I would like to set the record straight by saying I am not the "deadbeat seller" refered to in the original post and really don't appreciate by name and reputation being dragged through the mud on this thread. As far as DarrenX33's claim that I am the guy that "constantly" has trim tags for sale....I have sold a whooping total of two in the past three years. If you had done any checking at all you would have seen that the one you are referring to was relisted because the original buyer never paid for it. I would be willing to bet if you had a trim tag available, you would list it in a heartbeat! Who wouldn't?? It's not like I am the only person that has ever sold a trim tag...do a little digging and you will find that the desirable one's go for $250-$350. As long as there are people willing to pay that amount there will be people selling them. I have never forced anyone to bid on my items, they choose to and if you don't want to do business with me that's great!! I would like to thank you though for posting my auctions here, it has brought a lot of attention to them!

Oh and Marlin...like I said in the email I sent you, if you can't figure out how to cancel your bid I would be more than happy to oblige you!!

Have a great day and happy bidding!

Here is the link to the auction with the engine I was supposed to get in it:
Ebay 427 Click Here

And no it was not "bad juju" it was chevynut1969.

Like I said, turns out he was arrested for this recently. His "daddy" is a big time lawyer up there. The "threats" have already started about "harassment" and "defamation" lawsuits. I replied that I am not going away and am going to be that that mole on his @ss, with him until he makes it RIGHT!

badjuju- I apologize for the bad choice of word "constantly". I have seen you list tags with ZL1 and COPO. I defend you right to sell anything you like regardless if I agree with it or not. In this case I don't dig it and I don't think I will be looking for tags to sell myself no matter how much I can make at it. I also never titled you with "deadbeat seller".

Marlin- I also apologize to you if I misled you on this auction.

Darren
