How do you tell a 49-state `70 LS6 from a California car? What are the things to look for? I have a customer who's looking for a carb for his soon-to-arrive `70 LS6 Chevelle, but we're not sure if the car is 49-state or a Cali car. I believe it's a Baltimore built car (7th digit is a "B") and it does have a T1211 CRV block code (Dec. 11th `69, Tonowanda engine plant, correct?) Was the CRV code used on both 49-state AND Cali cars? Once again, thanks in advance ![]() |
