Default Re: 4 clip trim rings

-------When you talk about 8" and 7" trim rings a couple of things pop to mind.
-------1st. All 8" rallys made by GM are the same offset.
-------2nd. Not all 7" rallys are the same offset. Indeed, some are so much different that they use different trim rings.
-------Two 7" rallys are of interest here. The 1st. is a circa 1970 or so Monte Carlo 15/7 rally which accepts a narrow 6" style 67 Corvette style trim ring. The extra inch from 67 Vette 6" wheel to Monte style 7" is on the back side. The 2nd. is the 7" 68 Corvette style which has the extra inch on the outside and therefore can and does use a 69 style 8" trim ring.
-------If you are talking about the four clip 67 Vette style trim ring you are talking about a rare piece for obvious reasons. The 67 Vette guys have priced them out of sight. Good ones are extremely hard to find. I paid $800 for an NOS set all the way back in 1997 and was offered a profit shortly thereafter. Didnt take it as I needed them.
-------If you are talking about the wider ring that goes on either an 8" or 7" Vette style rally, they are around although I believe in smaller and smaller quantities as time goes on.............Bill S

-------P.S. Im not as strong on Camaros as I should be but these valuable trim rings may also have been used up by Z-28 guys as well?
