I have a body dated '68 if you want a service replacement closer to to '67.

Thanks Marlin but I think I'll use this one until I find the right one. The guy I bought it from did not know how to read the date codes and told me it was a Jan. 67 carb. It has been rebuilt so I'll go with it for now.

Knappy,
I've had a service dated carb on my L72 car for years. I finally tracked down a '65 date coded restorable core. Getting it restored is one of the many things on my list. Definately use what you have until you get the one you want.

Ok, that's cool. I'm in it for a whopping $4, found it in bus in a junk yard. My buddy got the 4346 dated 12 of 68, another whopping $4 pricetag

I know! We moved about 400 carbs in this old bus to find 3-4 good ones, at $4 per, we would have moved 3x that amount for 3-4 more good ones

I think I have a 66 or 67 chevelle 396 Holley too, not sure anymore!
