I AGREE with Micky and Dan.. '69 Chevelle is what I wanted when I was a Kid and couldn't have, mostly because of the insurance.

I like them all, but I'm partial to the '69SS,because I had a '66 SS and the front area of the '69SS reminds me of the earlier Chevelle. By '69 the Chevelle SS had finally become an all around performance /handling package like the 442 and GTO--In My Humble Opinion--

All the Chevelle's from 65-72 have merit. But I like 1969 best followed by 1966. But then again thats my take...BKH

The 70 Chevelle SS has to be the best designed car ever as far as appearance goes IMO. If someone has never seen a muscle car asked for someone to show them what one looked like they would be shown a pic of a 1970 Chevelle SS 454 or a 1969 Camaro Z28. That is just my opinion.
