man, i'am amazed at all the problems ford is having with the new 6.0 diesel. i was in a ford forum and the list is a mile long with all the complaints, serious ones to!

You can't beat a B or ISB Cummins. If anyone wants a power upgrade let me know. It's what I do. Diesel Injection

the cummins engine is rated as the best, only problem with the dodge is the transmissions are failing on them right and left.

I agree on the Dodge trans. It is the weak link. There is some aftermarket items out that really helps though. We like the ATS stuff. We have a 96 3/4 ton that has their parts in it and the trans feels good and is very strong.

I don't know about the latest Dodge offerings ('04.5), but a buddy of mine switched from GM's to a Dodge (HO, 6-speed) and he likes everything but the truck itself...
