I collected comics when i was a kid, and i remember watching a movie where the villan was a comic collector. He had 2 very rare #1 Captain America's. He had the hero tied up and was explaining to him how there are so few of these left, as he was doing this he took one and put it into the paper shredder. Then he proclaims as he is holding up the remaining copy "now this one is worth twice as much". Of course that just tightened the sphincter another notch, i could'nt believe a collector would do that, yes i know it was a movie, makes you wonder though, stands to reason the more that are destroyed the more the remaining ones are worth. Although anybody serious about a collectable would never dream of purposly destroying something that he loves. Just a comment, no need to get worried. I have no intentions of buying a bunch of Yenkos to drive off a cliff or anything.

It was quite sometime ago, it was a James Bond style flick. I believe that Tony Curtis starred in it, i could be wrong though.
