You did a beautiful job John. I know you poured a lot of effort into this car, so, thanks much. Mike

Here's my very first ride. Still has the original drivetrain and paint. Owned it for approximately 35 years before selling it last fall to make room in the garage.

[/ QUOTE ] Hey Frank, I guess I just got tired of banging my knee into the windshield pillar post every time I jumped in or out... you know how those '58's are. ![]() Tim "Hotrodchev" 1968 Nova SS 1970 Nova SS 1969 Chevelle SS 1969 Camaro 1972 Cheyenne Super SWB 1967 Plymouth Belvedere II |

I'll run ya for pink slips: Here's my first ride. November 1970, 8th birthday present. Note the kick stand position as I could not reach the ground yet. (still can't after all these years) ![]() |

...and here it is today. I restored it 3 years ago. It's a 1970 Raleigh Chopper with 3 speed stick on the bar. Never could manage to pull a wheelie though. I rode it recently. I forgot how dangerous these things really were!

Now I really regret destroying it when I was a kid after seeing how nice yours looks all restored. Getting back to our rides, here's my summer driver back and forth to work. Tim "Hotrodchev" |
