Ed,
If it eases your pain, I paid $250 for the correct AM/FM Radio for my Chevelle. Plus the speaker harness. Which I think was another $25.00. These items are really in big demand. The days of cutting up a dashboard are over. Not that I ever did that. But, I'm sure you have seen more than your share of destroyed dashboards and door panels.
