It is so strange that this happened. A few weeks ago I was thinking about the "Deadman's curve" movie. Hadn't seen it since it came out in 1978. A week later my cable started showing it like crazy. Now this. Sad news. He will be missed.

Thx for the post, I don't generally watch the news & hate MTV (who probably did some token 'blurb' on him). I did a little tribute to Jan after comedy night. (I host the longest running comedy night in MN...and possibly in the midwest now, every Sunday night.)

The college kids looked a me like I just warped through time..but they dug it. (at 31, I'm not even dating myself...just 'nerding' myself w/ the Jan & Dean...AMEN!)
