Hey gemleeus, you used contradictory terms in your post. "Nice ride" and "a little rare" are contradictory when used with the word "budget." (Just giving you a little grief!)

Oh, and be ready to get critcized by the 'intelligentsia' at every car show. "That's wrong." "They weren't built with that at the factory." "There's too many stitches in the sun visor so the car isn't original." Stuff like that. Ignore them and have fun with the car. Best to park your car at the show and then walk away for an hour or two so you don't have to listen to the 'brains' comment on your car's "many" inaccuracies.

Sorry, I got up on my soapbox there didn't I....

no problem 427TJ. i know sometimes i feel the same way. i was thinking about a yenko or copo car, but to tell you the truth i'm not so sure if i want to buy one of these cars. i know they hold their value ( as unpopular as investment subject maybe about these cars, i'm looking at the future value of the car, 100k plus is a lot of money man) i'm just a little apprehensive at this moment. i've noticed several nice 69 ss camaros or chevelles that i may like to have. i think i would be satisfied also of owning a copo or yenko car thats not been restored or that may be missing some original components, just as long as its an original body car, i've heard there are some out there like this around the 50k or a little better range? i would love to have a deuce, i've had emails about these cars available unrestored for not such a large amount.

Gemleeus, If you do attend a show please feel free to use one of my standard responses when the "talking heads" give you grief. "That's nice, ahuh, thank you, and by the way, can we go and look at your car now? Oh, you don't have a car, that's too bad. But I'm sure your mother will get you one when you're old enough to drive."

Works every time. Wilma
