Yes,you could and did receive the demo tape with it.Talk about a mess of wires with the two options combined .The demo tape is called "Music of the USA,featuring Lorne Green". Very hard to find cartridge.I have a few 8-trks and the multiplex's for them. The 8-trk multiplex has an additional jumper that the std. unit does not have. The 8-trk / multiplex combo uses # 7305221 and multiplex alone uses #7304621.Multiplex to radio uses a 9 pin plug,8-trk to multiplex is an 11 pin.The multiplex/8-trk has the same two plugs,9 & 11 pin.....

Do you have the Original Slide box & papers that 8tk Tape came new in? There was an earlier 8Tk tape issued before that one, that is a completelty different design released in 1967-8. I have all these from Chevrolet,& I would think the earlier version would have been available in 68..thoughts? I Have seen that one in your picture in 1969-70 Chevrolet Cars as well. Rick |
