Another photo from the "Building a Mindbender" article. Note the stripe over the roof and the Motion decal on the right rear window.

Yeah, I'll bet this car was a COPO that was converted to a Phase III. The article was in the 11/69 Cars and the owner's name was Marc Cohen. Note hood tach and window sticker.
Photo went across the center of the magazine, unfortunately. |

Another from the 9/70 Cars Magazine road test of the '70 Motion Camaro. Note the factory "moon" caps. I dare someone to run these on their '70 Motion Camaro!

Motion show display. You could talk with Joel Rosen himself and discuss how you wanted your '69 Motion car optioned. You could even finance it through Baldwin Chevrolet. What--$500 down and you're off!

At SCR6, Joel Rosen was VERY specific that they had no idea of the COPO program. The question was posed in response to the picture you posted. Today the Motion cars are tough to find for a variety of reasons including the fact that most lived a very hard life on the street and track as well as all of the salt used during the winter the N.E. where most of these cars resided. Not to mention very few were built to begin with as they could get pretty pricey.
