Welcome to the board. Your idea of an LS6 Chevelle seems a good choice. Lots of Chevelle owners/experts on this board that can help you with specific questions. Depending on condition, $50K should get you a decent LS6 weekender/driver. They go up from there...

You could also find a Deuce for that type of money as well. They are great supercars!
