Default Re: Jet Hot coatings?

I had Jet Hot do the coatings on the set of headers for my Viper. Very inticate: 10 separate tubes, all still fit together after the coating was done. They did a great job. Looks like a polished pewter finish. Depending on how hot the tubes get, they tend to turn slightly satin finished, but still retain the nice shine 4 years later. No discoloration or bluing like chrome. They also did the original 1970 set of headers from my Hemi Charger, same good results. They don't fix dents so make sure the tubes are as straight as you want them prior to shipping to them. They then sandblast them and prep them for the coating. I also had them coat the exhaust manifolds on my Z11. They have a cast iron finish as well, and it looks perfect a year later. Their turn around time is usually a matter of days. Their website is www.jet-hot.com
