It doesn't work, the worm isn't going to wait until you get a "not delivered" message back from your ISP before sending to the others in your address book. And by the time the worm is reading your address book your computer is already infected. And! all these worms and virus' carry payloads that trigger at a later date and do evil things like filling up your drive with junk files or deleting system files so once you reboot the PC doesn't work...
The only offensive moves you can do to combat this crap is a good virus scanner and learn to recognize infected e-mails and delete them... |

You are correct sir!
I'm not a big fan of Norton's products (too intrusive and embedded into your computer's operating system in my opinion). I would HIGHLY recommend that anyone who doesn't already have some sort of virus protection get this FREE virus software. Grisoft's AVG Virus protection (free) I've been using it for a few years w/ only positive results. **And, common sense helps here too...if it's an e-mail attachment and you don't know what it is...DON'T CLICK ON IT ![]() -Mark Holman
