[ QUOTE ]
Just a quick heads-up on this car... After several failed attempts on Ebay, the owner is now shopping this car around as a "matching numbers" COPO Chevelle, complete with original KQ rear, and possibly a new trim tag...according to those looking at the car last year, it was a 396 car with a KK rear with a '70 454 in it and an 11D build date. There's a LOT more to this story than I care to get into, but if you're bored, here's some more info: Team Chevelle thread 1 - Team Chevelle Thread 2 [/ QUOTE ] This one should be on the best seller's list. It's a great read and I suggest that anyone who wants a great laugh... should read it. ![]()

Our 396 Chevelle at B345383 is about 19,000 after this car but was shipped February 7. Sounds like someone stamped the block without understanding the relationship of production numbers to dates. Buyer beware.
