I Love that Damn Noise! ![]() Yours doesn't look broken to me in the picture.Make sure you slide the open (Notched) end into the column first. The end with the two fingers sticking out go in last,and should overlap at the 11:00 O'clock position I believe..Once in the column,slide the key in the ignition switch to make sure the end of the key is pushing the contacts together inside the column.If not,bend to correct.These do wear down as time goes on. Do all this with Battery power on,& the Door open,so you can test and adjust the distance beween the metal contact fingers while still in the column.Once you get the right distance,button up the column and steering wheel so you don't have to keep breaking it down over & over again.
