Hey Dajudge...
Did we meet before? I would definetly remember a Black 70 Judge Ram Air IV. Thanks for the kind words about the Orbit Orange Judge I had. I am first in line to buy it back

About those Ford Drag team cars...What kind of condition were they in? Was the white one the '70 w/ Centerlines pictured in the B-J adds in the past couple months of magazine advertisements? Off hand does anyone know the auction #'s on those cars? I love the vintage drag stuff!

The Ford Drag Team cars were kind of rough. You could see decals under the paint and the paint was all checked/cracked. They looked like they were pulled straight off the track. Definitely needed restorations.

The cars were originally from the Holman-Moody Stroppe shop. Both were rough, one was much worse the the other- right down to the white spray paint on the quarter (over the rust). Lots #730 and #731 As I recall. One was a 428 car, the other had a 460.

Steve,
This is the "O-O" Judge on the cover of "GTO: The Great One", correct?

I have often said and thought – after hearing you'd sold it – that you must've hit a bad period in your life where your common sense got seized-up like an old Ferd starter and someone needed to tap you on the ol' noggin a few times to break it free.

Just what possessed you to sell what is very possibly the most attractive musclecar ever photo'd in a book!

Anyway, I'd like to see you own it again. Best of luck!

I believe one of those drag cars was advertised for $150,000! Quite a hit on price if it only sold for under $30,000!

Yes that was my Judge on the cover and inside. It also was used for the Peachstate model. I have often "kicked" myself for selling it. I have first dibs on it when the owner decides to part with it. See pic attached.

Barret-Jackson posted the auction results.

Maybe they've been up for a few days, but I didn't see them posted 'til now.

Kinda makes you wanna go dig a basket-case 'Cuda out of the snow and mud right away, doesn't it?
