If you get a chance, post a picture of the fender tag. Always beware of undercoating! The factory sprayed-on body shutz should only be inside of the front and rear wheel wells. If the car had the additional factory undercoating option it would be rather haphazardly sprayed on in areas of high probability of stone impact, etc., not the entire bottom of the car covered from side to side. BTW, doesn't that car carrier have any insurance to cover that guys load of "well done" cars? |

If I was the Transport Co I wouldn't cover it either. It was the owners fault. My understanding is he charged the battery but put the hold down back on wrong, causing hte short and fire. Passport is owned by Fedex so I'm sure they are self insured.

Charley or Diego,
I hate to bother ya, but I noticed on the Barrett-Jackson site that there may be a high-priced 68 GTO going across the block. The description is below, but there's no photo. Could you maybe snap a picture of this car? It sounds like it "could" be a RAII GTO because they state it has a rare RAIV cam. Either that, or it's a typo. ![]() Thanks! LOT #199 - RESERVE 2004 BJCCA CCA No photos available. OPTIONS COLOR - RED TRANS - AUTO CYLINDERS - 8 ENGINE SIZE - 400 HORSEPOWER - 360 This is a very rare GTO; It is a multiple show winner and was judged Best in Class at the annual World Famous "Gathering of the Goats" show sponsored by the National GTO Association; It is a fully restored automobile with matching numbers throughout and is documented by the National Pontiac Historical Society; It includes the factory window sticker, build sheet, dealer order form and the Pontiac Historical Society documentation; It has the original matching number 4 barrel 400cid motor with the rare RAM AIR IV camshaft and it produces over 360 tire burning horsepower; It is fully loaded with power steering, power disc brakes, automatic transmission, ice cold factory air conditioning, rare factory cruise control, tilt steering wheel, tachometer, gauges, bucket seats, floor console with the original his/hers shifter by Hurst, Rally II wheels and rare optional hideaway headlights; There has been over $35,000 invested in this beautiful show car; It absolutely runs and drives like new and is very, very fast.
