There are no commercial ads allowed except by site sponsors. All for sale or trade ads need to have a price. No listing for offers only, but you can list something with a price. Ebay is allowed as long as there is a "buy it now". Potential buyers can inquire about the item being sold. In my opinion this site can only help you, not hurt you. I'm pretty sure you bought the car at FAR below SUPERCAR prices. Assuming that, if the car is not real then you have a neat car that is probably fun and worth what you paid and you gained valueable knowledge about these cars, no money lost. Assuming on the other hand, this site and the many great people here help you document a car that is far more valueable than you anticipated then everybody wins - you have a valueable car, the buyer gets a valueable car, the car community gets another great car, the restorers get business from restoring the car, and it is one more great car that someone will own and share. That is what it's about. Alot of the SUPERCARS change hands from time to time. So multiple people get joy over owning the same car. I honestly hope it turns out to be what you say the car is.
