What he meant to say is he ended the auction.
He seems to have a language problem. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] No way is this car real, too early and no WS would show 427 on it. And David Heath's car is just a regular 68 Yenko. All but the first few 68's were COPO's (but not COPO 427's).

So this "so-called" 68 COPO that was up for sale on Ebay just fizzled out? Too bad, would have been fun to look at the documents, that's if there were documents.

The owner sent me an email saying the winning bidder never contacted him and I could buy the car for $50K. All I needed to do was wire him $25K within 24 hours and the balance due at delivery. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif[/img] I said to fax or email me a copy of all the documentation on the car before I send any money - he never did. I sent him an email a few days later asking where the documents are and he said the car is sold. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]
Does anyone know who got the car (if it really sold) and what documents did they got? I am assuming the owner found out it was not real and was was not ready to accept this fact so he pulled the car to resell at a later time.
