Impressive!

Were there different awards issued by state? Was Florida's unique?

Thanks again!

In 1977 Chevrolet held their Awards Weekend Ceremony in Florida for the Chevrolet Central Office Sales Department Executives from all over the Country.
This particular award was given to"The Best of the Best",as they called it.
It is a nice item you have there. They Display well..

Aside from the 1970 Chevrolet Cars,my Second Devotion is collecting Chevrolet Awards,Advertising Promotions,Displays & Banners from 1964-1981.
Legion of Leaders has a whole Following amongst itself.
Chevrolet truly showed the Salesmen what they meant to them then. Not like today...
I collect the Merchandise Catalogs for that, and the Jewelry and Diamond rings they offered the Salesmen back then are highly sought after today. Some of the Honored Salesmen take the Jewelry to their graves.Absolutely stunning!
I'm out of the Closet now!

Rick I was a member of the Leigon of Leaders in 1997-1998. What they gave you back then was a cheap wooden business card holder with brass style insert plaques that had the L of L logo, your name, and the year along with special business cards that reflected your "status". It was an ongoing thing so what they did was just send you a new plaque each year for your card holder so you could replace the old one if you made it that year. The heavy hitters were the only ones that got the rings! In the L of L they also had a 300-500 club based on unit sales. Only the powerhouses like Mr. Ed were able to sell that many new cars in one year!
