Now that is what I call an education.
My roomies and I all crowd around the computer when ever we are on really cool sites, and this is one of them. I frequent www.svtperformance.com, and also my local site www.auburnextremeracing.com. Both are great sites for new muscle cars, but I was really hoping to find a site that catered to mine and my roomates old car obsession. My roomie Jason drives a 67 nothch back Mustang, and so you can imagine he loves stuff like this. And after finding this little oasis of car knowledge I think that I have hit the mark. I really just enjoy reading and not saying much, but on a few rare occasions I have spoken up. As for the 02 Zl-1s my good friend that I go to school with down here got to talking about the #64 Garnett Red car and in talking we found out we had a whole lot more in common than we thought. He told me that his cousin was buying some really awsome new Camaro that was painted some kind of yellow, and had a 427. I light up like a Christmas tree, and blurted out "is it a Daytona yellow phase three ZL-1 Super car built by GMMG!?" To which his jaw dropped on the floor cause he never expected anyone else especially his own age to know what the heck he was talking about. So his Cousin owns # 46...what a small world. Another small world is when I ran into one of the guys that works at GMMG while I was out at out local cruise spot. I had been out galavanting around just checking out some cars when I met this guy with a very plain Z-28. After walking around the car twice and taking note that it had stickers on the hood much like the GMMG cars, I decided to ask the owner about his car. Before I could open my mouth I saw his hat that read GMMG, and I knew that his cars was the meanest thing out there. After oooing over his car for a while we carried on a convo and ended up becomming friends. This hobby is like nothing else, you some of the coolest people. And see some really impessive cars. |
