Ok, how do we edit that graemlin to include "Mr. Lillard".
Oh yeah, regarding the "young ones" not to worry. I working on the toddler age group as we speak. My 3 year old can spot a set of rally wheels from a mile a way. I should have had Bill Wildt interview him at Vettefest.

Now that is what I call an education.
My roomies and I all crowd around the computer when ever we are on really cool sites, and this is one of them. I frequent www.svtperformance.com, and also my local site www.auburnextremeracing.com. Both are great sites for new muscle cars, but I was really hoping to find a site that catered to mine and my roomates old car obsession. My roomie Jason drives a 67 nothch back Mustang, and so you can imagine he loves stuff like this. And after finding this little oasis of car knowledge I think that I have hit the mark. I really just enjoy reading and not saying much, but on a few rare occasions I have spoken up. As for the 02 Zl-1s my good friend that I go to school with down here got to talking about the #64 Garnett Red car and in talking we found out we had a whole lot more in common than we thought. He told me that his cousin was buying some really awsome new Camaro that was painted some kind of yellow, and had a 427. I light up like a Christmas tree, and blurted out "is it a Daytona yellow phase three ZL-1 Super car built by GMMG!?" To which his jaw dropped on the floor cause he never expected anyone else especially his own age to know what the heck he was talking about. So his Cousin owns # 46...what a small world. Another small world is when I ran into one of the guys that works at GMMG while I was out at out local cruise spot. I had been out galavanting around just checking out some cars when I met this guy with a very plain Z-28. After walking around the car twice and taking note that it had stickers on the hood much like the GMMG cars, I decided to ask the owner about his car. Before I could open my mouth I saw his hat that read GMMG, and I knew that his cars was the meanest thing out there. After oooing over his car for a while we carried on a convo and ended up becomming friends. This hobby is like nothing else, you some of the coolest people. And see some really impessive cars. |

Isn't #46 David Watt's '02 ZL1? As I remember David lives in Gulf Shores, Alamaba.
I believe it is. If so, he, his wife and his parents are really nice folks. We had the opportunity to meet them at the Fred Gibb show in La Harpe, Illinois this past summer.

He sure does live down there, and there has been another addition to the family. He just had a new baby boy if I remember correctly. His cousin Greg is one of my good friends, and after the Super Chevy Show at MMP we drove Davids car back to Auburn, where Mike and Ron (GMMG) picked it up to do some work on it. We had a blast driving it into and through downtown Auburn. What was the absolute best was when we loped through the sorority dorms with the cutout open. I have never had so many chicks complent a car that had me in it before. My girlfriend even ooh and ahhed over it, as did her roomates. Cops smiled and gave the thumbs up, while ricers trembled in their fart cannons. Life is good in a muscle car, and one of these days I hope to own the #69 Grumpy's Toy Car that is sitting over there at the shop....might have to beat up Mike to get the keys though.

Whitten, I think I've traded e-mails with the owner of #46. I lost all those e-mails, etc. when my Toshiba crashed a couple months ago. Ask him if he remembers #51. Wasn't that Dick Butkus's number?? (Youngsters - don't even try to figure this one out!)
