I believe the part about the Corvette. 25+ years ago, my wife and I were attending Bloomington with a group of friends from a Corvette club we belonged to. We had driven our '64 Vette there, as did as few others. Saturday evening we all went to Red Lobster, parking our cars in their lot. When we came out, one car was missing, a 1963 Split Window, with all of the goodies, Fuel injection, knockoffs, etc. The week before he had turned down a "king's ransom" for the car. Several years later the car had still not be found. And, by the way, only had liability insurance coverage.
