there are two 69 Camaro shifter plates (SB and BB) SB is about 1/2 thick BB is about 1 in thick. So if Deuce used BB rods then would need BB plate? BB plate makes sence to me because it would move shifter closer to driver which is how most Nova shifters are. Nova shifters normally have less offset then Camaro shifters I have seen. |

I see your logic Joe, but the Deuces actually have the SB attaching plate because the shifter comes up through the middle of the tunnel. You are correct, all other Nova 4speed shifters come through offset to the driver's side, but the Deuces are the only Novas to come through the center.
