Sure would like to find out just what Okla dealership he is refering to? Most every Chev dealership around here was nothing special but if you knew the right salesman he could get you just about anything you wanted. My 2nd cousin was the Parts Mgr at Bill White in Tulsa and when I blew up Mothers old '57 210 post 283 motor I got one of the first 375 hp shortblocks to put back in it and it took a while for everybody to figgure out what I had done to go so fast. Most of the chev dealers sponsered a few guys at the drags but most of the dealers did that too. But there was never a Nicky or Yenko style dealer.
