Default Re: Rust versus Original Drivetrain

Jeff, Do you really think that car in that condition is worth 15-25 thousand? I know the car is rare and desirable but I was thinking (not seeing it) around 10-15 thousand. Even if Frank Arone and Brian Henderson do that car I would be surprised if you could get $50.000 for it.I am sure you will have that into it if it is done right. I feel the 67 Z is well underated but the 69's with millions of them out there is still the first choice by most. I really like the interiors of the 1967 camaros and the location of their gauges. He just has to look at it as a long term investment and really just do it for himself. I would use all original sheetmetal, (I did my 1969 Z with original west coast sheetmetal and it looks very good). I am not really crazy about NOS unless it is from vey early 70's. Original virgin sheetmetal really does fit better. Just my opinion. Sam
