Marlin when I do get my Deuce it won't be my first car so there will most likely be no lessons that need to be taught. For example, if you watched the first Fast & the Furious at the very end AFTER the credits are through rolling (I bet that most people have not even seen this part) they show one last shot. They have Vin Diesel speeding down a beach in Mexico in a 1970 Chevelle SS red with black stripes just like my car. The car had sport mirrors on it like a late 70's Vette and the wrong steering wheel and seats I think. The first thing I said when I saw that scene was WOW that was my car! Cool! Not awww man the car is incorrect!

Hey, that's cool, to each their own.

Geez Marlin, what did ya do, play the scene frame by frame? I almost missed the whole thing just by tippin a cocktail as the Nova came on. Seems I remember you mentioning seeing this car in person somewhere, so I am certain you noticed all the incorrect stuff that blind drunk old guys like me could not catch in 15 seconds. It did cross my mind though, Yenko didnt do black on the Deuce's did he? And was that movie clone black? I am thankful the Hollywood Yo Yo's dont tear up the real ones in the movies. I read somewhere it was 200+ 68 Chargers used to make the Dukes of Hazzard show, and 11 of them where originally Hemi cars. Aaagghh!

Yea, I remember the inconistencies from seeing the car in person, I have not seen the movie. Yenko did not make any black cars in '70, nor '68 & '69 for that matter, so the incorrect stuff is a little obvious - different year and color.

There are a few (real) deuces painted black today though, common thing to do with some of the paint colors. One deuce was originally gobi beige, now it's black with the stripes painted on in silver, 427 installed by owner!
