Contact Jeff Dottiere, he can tell you. He is the one who would judge the car for Diamond Certification [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] I don't have his number handy, but check any issue of HMN and he is listed under DATED COMPONENTS., his business here in PA.

I will also note, that most of us doing the purist thing, do it for our own knowledge...that things are CORRECT. But with the NCOA being a non entity now...not sure who you would be doing this for in terms of judging..with the exception of Jeff certifying a car, who would look at a part number and date on a shock? On a 69 Chevelle..

heck, I find myself pointing these things out to folks on my car...nobody really seems care [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]
