Check the VIN on the transmission and see if it matches the car. Might be a first step. If the car has the factory tach, the redline would be 6000 for the COPO and L78 cars. It would be nice if you were onto something. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now.
