Just because your state lets a--holes drive with out a drivers lic. you can't blame your Ins. company, because you didn't have full coverage on your car. Don't pack your bags just yet. I had a lady try to hit and run on me about a year ago. I was parked at the local park getting ready for a jog and she backed right into me, she would have got away if I wasn't sitting in the car. I've had a few friends that were not so lucky though. When we had our shop in California we had a 68 RS/SS Big Block we had just closed a deal on pending financing. Afterwards we went to the bar next door to have a beer with the new owner. Someone backed into the car right there and took off. Creamed the whole driver's door! The guy buying the car understood and the door was replaced. He was still a happy new owner. It's amazing what can happen right under your nose.
