Actually courtesy of Rick Peters (Mr.70) Thanks for posting them Don. I will have the whole story on this car from Ed in a couple of days.

If you look close enough you can see the Brigance decal on the back of the deck lid. I can make out the white bowtie.

That article is from the April 1970 issue of Popular Hot Rodding.I'll bring it to VetteFest.
It's a great write up,with a note about how in 1969 AHRA rules stated that one piece front ends are NOT permitted in Heads-Up Super Stock racing.So the two owners of inNOVAtion used a one piece tilt front end and bolted on a hood Scoop to it.Since the Scoop is seperate from the rest of the hood,it technically removed the car from the one piece category.
Owners then were Art Lupescu & Kelly O'Brien.It did mid tens,at over 130 MPH.They credit Simonsens Auto Parts in Chicago.
Has anyone heard of any of these names,or even know where this car is Today?

I know many of the employees from Brigance .I had about 6 relatives and many friends who worked there. My uncle was one of the new car get ready techs their from 1960 till they closed. If any body has questions e-mail me.
