I have to agree with you on the BM Emblems not being made till late '69. My first (Joel's) orange/black Vette did not have them on the hood or valve covers and the white '70 Motion I have did have them on the hood which would leave me to assume that they did not start to use them till sometime in the summer or fall of '69.
