Just as a point of curiosity, back in 1988,I bought a 1973 camaro to build as my first race car.The car has a motion performance mirrored dash insert in it.The guy who was selling it also bought an L88 hood for the car but never installed it.It was also a motion piece, since it was one one of the recipts that came with the car.He bought it in 1978,and it was chopper gun looking glass that was ratty looking on the inside.I dont know how they were finished in 1970,but it is possible to ind a bonafide motion hood with poor build quality. It might not be correct for a resto, but it will have the correct label molded into it.
