While attending the Supercar Reunion at Collinsvile.I looked at Chris Shorrs 1969 Butternut Yellow Yenko Chevele.
On the filler trim peice, above the front bumper, under the driver side headlights,it had 427 written in yellow grease pencil. It was upsidedown. Coincedence? |

Our Camaro had "427" written on the passenger side fender extension (upside down, I believe?) just forward of the front tire, and was a 24k mile original car...I've heard of this on other cars as well.

My JL8 car had 235 written on the driver's side of the firewall hidden by the fender. That matches the sequence number on the broadcast sheet.

I have a picture of my front extension from my 16K Yenko Camaro that shows the "427" I can't get on the site so I will e-mail Rob to see if he can get it on.
