OK. I'm pretty sure the Z/28's and SS cars had no fender mods (unlike, say BOSS 302 and 429 Mustangs), so what works for others should work for you. The cavernous wheelwells of 2nd gen Camaros do look better filled with 15's. My personal favorite is 15x7's all around with 235/60's on the front and 245/60's on the back. 235's all around look fine (similar to a stock z/28 profile) if you want to rotate the tires sometimes. I personally don't jump to 8" wheels unless I'm running 255/60's or bigger. I wouldn't look at the tallish 275/60's unless your car sprouts a tunnel ram or turns into an Impala (JMO [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]).

And if I run wider wheels in the back, I choose tires that have a tread width increase at least as great as the rim width increase, both compared to the front. I.E. if you have 6" wide rims on the front and tires with a 6" tread, and you run 8" rims on the back, the tread should be AT LEAST 8" wide, or else you run the risk of looking like you put your fat tires on the front. If you've ever seen a car with wider wheels on the back, but the same size tires all around, you know what I mean.
