Steven J from this site owns a 1970 LS6 Chevelle that was sold new from Yarnell-Todd.
I have looked long and hard in local area junkyards for any cars holding this trunk emblem, and come up empty. |

I would give the guys at Stacek a call to see what they know or if they can lead you to the Todd family

I thought that I was the only person with a car from this dealer ! Anyway, it was Yarnall-Todd Chevrolet, 700 West Dundee Rd., Wheeling, Il. It became Tom Todd Chevrolet around 1972, and as has been said, it's now Bill Stasek Chevrolet. The dealer number was 11-592. I am told that the "Yarnall" part was Frank Yarnall, who I believe was the father in law of Tom Todd. Before moving to the Wheeling location, they were somewhere in Chicago.
There's a salesman at Stasek that knows the history of the dealership by the name of Scott Wiscomb. He wasn't there when it was Yarnall-Todd, but he knows a lot of the history. I've been bothering him for three years to give me a Yarnall Todd dealer sticker for my car, but he's had no interest in looking through his memorabilia. If you have better luck, all I want is a picture or photocopy and I'll duplicate it. If I can be of further help,, let me know.
