Since I have been an Ins. agent for 30 years you should be able to go to your agent and ask him to put stated amount on your truck some companies don't require appraisals under 10,000 value. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] Kim

Are collector cars different? I was just hired to do an appraisal on an LS6 for a State Farm insured and I was told they did not need an appraisal if the stated value was under $50K which seemed very odd to me. This car was valued over that so I went ahead with one to protect my customer. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dunno.gif[/img] Rick

Rick, all companies set their standards different some have higher limits regarding appraisals as for collecter cars stated amount is stated amount whether collecter or junker , but again companies are different on how they class cars Kim [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
