Default Funny Car Reunion in Englishtown, NJ

Went to the FCR at Englishtown Raceway Park on Saturday, what a site to see! All of those famous funny cars sitting in the pits, with such notables standing around them. Tom Clary and Mo had the DH-FC parked right next to Bruce Larson's car.

We had a nice round table discussion regarding the '68 DH-FC, I spent the time listening! It was T.Clary, the '67 DH-FC owner, Mo, and Dave Libby - what an amazing memory he has.

As I was leaving late Sat. afternoon, D.Libby and I were talking and he gestured towards 3 people standing nearby noting that; 'there stands the current owners of Dick Harrells most famous funny cars, the '67, '68, and '69, all in one place'. Indeed!

Where are the pic's Mo?

Umm...I'd probably guess somewhere in Pennsylvania about now! Did you get to see the car make a pass Sunday? Dad said it survived, and Larson even volunteered some pointers for our next outing. Rumor is the REAL long block (510+ ci) is gonna go back in the car upon it's return to Missouri...

Boy, that's odd...I don't remember all those stickers being on the rear window when the car left Alton!

Boss 429 Funny. The modern FC is an amazing machine but they don't have the variety of engines like in the 60's. It was cool when there were Ford, Chevy, Olds, Pontiac, and even AMC engines to compete with the Hemi cars.
