The old Mark 10 B box if I am not mistaken. I'm not sure when these first came out. I beleive the first CD kit Jole began using was the OE Olds unit. Does anyone have an idea what boxes were popular each year, from 1968 to 1972?

Hello pxtx,
1968-1969----The MALLORY CD IGN. called the "Magic Box" Around 1970--PhaseIII CD[Jacobs Electonic Unit] was introduced and used for a while. After that, I guess the one JoeC is showing After that the Energizer Bunny. -----JoeG |

I used to have a 69 JL8 RS Z that had paperwork for a bunch of stuff put on it when new and it had one of those Mark 10 units.

Charley,
Yeah, I know they were around, but I didn't see them on any Motion cars '68/69/70/71/ cars at least what I saw, but I wasn't there 24/7 --I know Motion really pushed the PHASEIII hard when introduced around 1970 They were all good units ,--it kept my plugs firing a pretty long stretch before I would have to clean them---I've got the MSD 6 unit on now, very good also----JoeG. |
