Dealer installed accessory or factory optional accessory (FOA 117) for all conventional Chevrolets. Crossed flags with ""Chevrolet"" above and below stand on black painted background of center of cover" 1961 Passenger Car Specifications book: Regular Equipment section: "Stainless Steel Hub Caps - All Models" RPO & FOA section: Chassis: "Disks, wheel #117 - All Models Dealer Installed section: "Cover, Wheel (disk type) - All models Engineering Specs section: There is a photo of the disk pictured at the beginning of this thread. Under the photo is printed "Accessory Wheel Disk All Models" Best regards, Verne PS: Yes, I am the Project Chairman for our club's Cowl Tag Project and run our Documentation Service for '58-'64 Chevrolets. And there's a photo of my old '62 on our club site: jerseylategreats.com By the way, I don't know much about Pontiacs, but they are my second love. I'd have as many of them in my garage as Chevys if I could afford it. |
