Re: Motion SS427 Valve Covers

Appears to have a hard black/grey epoxy on the studs holding them to the covers. The studs must have been ground to fit between the fins, since none protrude thru the covers. Wouldn't want a fast nut coming undone inside your ZL-X motor. They were listed in the '69 Motion Performance catalogs as being available in SS396 and SS454 versions as well. Only ever saw these SS427 versions though on the covers of the Motion Performance handbooks, and in pics in the catalogs. I believe they simply attached emblems to Rocket Racing valve covers. Good looking pieces.
